Leslie Antonio Frazier, born April 3, 1959, in Columbus, Mississippi, is a former NFL player and respected football coach known for his leadership and defensive expertise. Growing up in Mississippi, Frazier developed a strong work ethic and love for the game that carried him to Jackson State University, where he became a standout defensive back and helped elevate the program’s national profile.

Frazier was selected by the Chicago Bears in the 1981 NFL Draft and went on to play a key role on the legendary 1985 Super Bowl–winning Bears defense. Though his playing career was cut short by injury, his football intelligence and discipline naturally transitioned him into coaching. He built a long and successful coaching career in the NFL, serving in roles including defensive coordinator and head coach of the Minnesota Vikings from 2011 to 2013.
